Formulate and implement meaningful actions complete with backup systems to insure accountability. Clarify:Clarify: What, specifically, is my vision and how will I articulate it to drive effective action? What are the detailed steps in my personal roadmap that will move me down the path? How will I ensure my accountability for consistent action and balance that with other life priorities? Effective Money Conversations (all are customized for the particular audience, this is a sample for non-profit development directors and executive directors) Identifying and cultivating individual donors is an essential piece of the funding mix for every nonprofit. However, asking individuals for their money can be a very intimidating prospect. While finding funding through grants and corporate sponsors seems less daunting than asking an individual for a portion of their paycheck, we know that the largest percentage of philanthropic dollars comes from individuals. This workshop will help you in breaking below the surface of interactions with current and/or potential individual donors in order to observe new distinctions and formulate meaningful conversations to generate increased individual giving. Clarify: How do I overcome my own anxiety about asking for money in order to have more profitable conversations with prospective donors? How can I most powerfully articulate my cause in a way that will be effectively received by my intended audience? How do I engage donors to give with clarity and conviction to create more consistent and longer term contributions? |
